Hello! If you’re reading this and you’ve been part of our 2017 in someway then can we start with a huge thank you?! It’s been a brilliant year at Lean Body Vision, Mudless Bootcamp and The Earlsdon Running Club. Time to reflect with gratitude and look ahead with excitement!

The Lean Body Vision studio has seen some fantastic things this year from dramatic weight loss with our personal training clients to injury rehabilitation, assisting with prepping clients for two knee replacements, one hip replacement and one shoulder surgery. We also had the great privilege of another bride at the studio where Hannah and Zoe were able to attend our lovely client Mandy’s wedding after 18 months of dedicated training! (see photo below of us all doing a plank on the dance floor to celebrate). 18056046_10154266754640806_2107577174228140214_o

Hannah and Zoe both have loved doing small group and one to one training in our private studio this year and have loved working with just the loveliest bunch of people. If you’ve been with us for three months or eight years – you make our day varied and so enjoyable! We look forward to working with you all to achieve your goals in 2018 and with all the new clients that will be joining us as well.

Yoga retreats

We’ve had two fabulous yoga retreats this year both held at Holycombe, an idilic retreat centre in the Cotswolds. Not only do Hannah and Helen enjoy the stunning views, delicious food and brilliant company but watching all the yogis gradually relax into the weekend is such a joy. There is next to no phone signal which is a surprisingly welcome event. We enjoyed this year some new accommodation in The Studio as well as some lovely new faces to the retreat and can’t wait to return in March 2018.

Mudless Bootcamp Saturday class

Mudless bootcamp

We’ve enjoyed another great year of our indoor bootcamp this year. Emma and Hannah love offering a great workout that doesn’t involve being in the cold, wet, snow, ice or any of the other many weather conditions we’ve faced this year. We’ve worked hard to keep a small group that’s friendly welcoming but not intimidating and loved celebrating another year with another Christmas dinner at The Almanack. Thank you to you all for making the classes so varied and fun!

The Earlsdon Running Club

In only its second year at Lean Body Vision the Earlsdon Running Club has gone from strength to strength. We’ve welcomed hundreds of total beginners to our course which we transformed into a six week structured format following your feedback. This gave us the opportunity to make a fixed programme of run/walk patterns with homework where everyone could start at the same pace and work towards then end goal – a continuous run. We’ve been blown away by people’s courage, progress and commitment to this course and seeing runners transition from never running through to 10km races this year has been so rewarding. We’ve welcome new instructors, Mel to our beyond beginners class and Liz to our intermediate class (and soon our half marathon training group) and also run volunteers Sarah, Gemma and Lil who have offered invaluable support to our brand new (and often nervous at first) total beginners. We can’t thank you all enough for being so fabulous.

Earlsdon Running Club at the Two Castles 10km

We saw our biggest ever 10km running group complete the Green Leek 10km this year as well as runners competing in The Coventry Half, Warwick Half, Birmingham Half and Rugby Half. A special shout out goes to all the runners who started in our total beginners group and went through to the 10km this year. It really is amazing!

The running club has grown in size but also in commitment  with such friendly runners. We run our club for beginners and intermediate runners but we don’t focus on minute miles, times or races. We focus on being friendly, welcoming and keeping everyone together and we love that it attracts, friendly people who just want to run together! We’re really looking forward to a 2018 of great running!
