Earlsdon Running Club is a friendly and informal running club that likes to help beginners get off the ground and existing runners stay motivated. We’re here to motivate, educate and get you moving. We meet for all our runs at the Lean Body Vision studio.

Monday 6.30pm Beyond beginners with Mel this is a pay as you go class designed for people who have completed our six week total beginners course or for people who don’t feel ready for the intermediate class. It’s a 3-4km continuous but slow and steady run. There is no pressure to keep up and it’s designed to help you go from interval running in beginners to continuous running in this class by slowing down your pace. £4 per class.
Monday 6.30pm total beginners with Zoe – A six week course getting you from a total beginner to a runner. This six week course uses walking and running to build up stamina and technique as well as going through breathing and other important running information to build confidence, strength and fitness. If you have always wanted to run or perhaps you used to run then come and join us. £22 for six weeks. All course info will be emailed to you so please make sure we have your correct email address. PLEASE NOTE WE MUST HAVE YOUR FORM AND DEPOSIT TO SECURE YOUR PLACE. This course is extremely popular and books up quickly so make sure you email/whatsapp/post your form to us straight away.

Monday 7.30pm 5-8km intermediate group with Hannah – You must be able to run continuously to do this run but it is not an advanced run. Intermediate runners welcome. This is a street run which will vary 5-8km in distance and will include stops for hill sprints and other run training on some runs. If you’re unsure, please call Hannah 07907781497 to have a chat.
Thursday 7.45pm 5-8km intermediate group incorporating run fit training – All intermediate runners are welcome. As well as doing a minimum of 5km run we also incorporate hill sprints or run fit training (squats, planks etc) on different weeks to help build running strength as well as distance.
Saturday 9.30am intermediate distance run 7-10km – All intermediate runners are welcome. This class is fornightly (see facebook group for weekly timetable) and is a continuous run. This class is pay as you go.

1/2 Marathon training group – Next course starts Thurs 30th August 2018 ready for the Birmingham Half in October 2018
Our half marathon training group will provide you with the following along side being able to add your training in with us at our usual classes and prices which will follow the training plan distances. Scroll down for a video with more info or to book.

- Training plan to get your from 7km to Half Marathon race ready

- 5 x weekend runs to help you build distance (Sat 1/9/18, Sat 8/9/18, Sat 15/9/18, Sun 23/9/18, Sat 6/10/18)
To join the half marathon group you just need to be able to run 7km continuously and commit to running three times a week. £30 fee includes, manual, facebook group access, unlimited email support, weekend distance runs and training plan. You can then access our training runs on Mondays and Thursdays for £4 per class or £35 for 10 classes. The Monday and Thursday intermediate classes will follow the training plan. Further information about our club
COST – £4 pay as you go, £3.50 bulk buy (pay for 10 sessions upfront with a stamp card and use as you go along) £3 superbulk buy (£60 for 20 sessions) for beyond beginners and intermediate groups. Total Beginners course £22 for six weeks. Half marathon group £30. 10km group £15.
CANCELLATIONS – If a session is not running for any reason we will post this on our Facebook group.

RUNNING LEVELS – We are here to help all running levels and have a beginners class for total beginners. If you’re unsure if you’re the right fitness level for any run PLEASE contact us.
GETTING STARTED – For you to get started we just need your PARQ health questionnaire filled in and brought with you to your session and your payment. JOINING FEE Currently FREE. Any changes from there on will be for new members only unless we become affiliated and a fee is due to UK Athletics. At this stage we are informal and want to keep the costs down for you so we are a non-affiliated club.
PARKING There are a few parking spaces on the drive at the Lean Body Vision studio but we may use this space for warming up and there also maybe clients parked there using the studio so please use the free on street parking round the corner towards Wisteria Lodge or outside the studio on Earlsdon Ave South itself. Please be considerate of our neighbours when you park.
